Sidewalks and bike paths

Road safety is an indispensable issue for the mobility of neighbors, tourists and fauna in communities around the world. The lack of road infrastructure is worrisome throughout Costa Rica. We have given ourselves the task of creating the necessary alliances to face the process of building sidewalks, bike lanes and wildlife crossings between Playa Grande and Matapalo. A group of volunteer students of Civil Engineering of the UCR prepared the mobility study according to the requirements of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MOPT). We now continue with the design and permits stage; then with the fundraising stage and finally the implementation and construction.
